History

The Zoologist, the official publication organ of the Zoological Society of Nigeria, was founded in 2002. The Journal has continued to make scientific information available to a wide range of readers, researchers and policy makers, with the hope of impacting lives positively and transforming our society. We publish original articles in various fields.

To disseminate scientific information generated from well designed, and ethically sound investigations, that will improve lives, conserve biodiversity, mitigate climate change and transform societies.
